User Research

User Interview:

There is a sample audio record from user interviews. This sample is last about 2:43 minutes and size about 1.3M.

Finding from user interview:

  • Referral from friends is the most important method to find the new job (Group 1) and the right person to fix the house (Group 2);
  • Review is the second consideration when Group 2 to consider who they like to hire;
  • The tools they use to help them complete their task: phone book, Google, Facebook, websites, Angie’s list, YouTube;
  • For component the handy man used, he does not try to find the best deal on price, he requests the right component for his job.

Pinpoint from user interview:

The working process between the handyman and the owner of the house are the mess, chaos, and low efficiency.
